The scope is similar to move-out but the order matters: we clean BEFORE your belongings arrive so every space is accessible. Once movers come in, we can do touch-ups but full deep cleaning around furniture is harder.

We follow standard make-ready cleaning protocols that satisfy most landlords and property management companies. If your lease has specific cleaning requirements (a checklist from the landlord, specific products, particular areas of focus), share it with us upfront and we'll work to that list. We can't guarantee you'll get your full deposit back — that depends on your landlord's interpretation — but we deliver work that holds up to typical scrutiny.

How is move-out cleaning different from regular deep cleaning?

Move-out cleaning is performed on an empty home and focuses on what shows when furniture and belongings are gone — the bottoms of cabinets, behind where appliances were, baseboards in every room (not just visible ones), and inside every closet and storage space. It's typically more thorough on the architectural envelope than standard deep cleaning.

Should I have the move-out clean before or after my movers leave?

After. Movers can scuff freshly cleaned surfaces, drop debris, and require space for equipment. Schedule the clean for the day after move-out is complete. For move-in cleans, schedule before furniture arrives so we can clean the entire interior including spaces that will be inaccessible afterward.

Do you handle carpet shampooing as part of move-in/move-out?

Carpet cleaning is typically a separate service through carpet specialists, but we can coordinate scheduling. Some landlords require professional carpet cleaning at move-out — we can recommend reputable Macon-area carpet cleaners. Our standard move-in/move-out clean includes thorough vacuuming but not extraction shampooing.
