How is a deep clean different from your regular cleaning?
Standard recurring cleaning maintains a home that's already in good shape — surfaces dusted and wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped, kitchens and bathrooms sanitized. Deep cleaning adds the things that don't get done weekly: baseboards, blinds, inside oven and refrigerator, light fixtures, vents, scale and grout treatment in bathrooms, detail work on cabinets and trim. It takes 2-3x longer than a standard clean.
How long does a deep clean take?
For a typical 3-bedroom home in good shape, expect 4-6 hours with a 2-3 person team. Larger homes, homes that haven't had professional cleaning in a long time, or homes with significant detail work needed (heavy soap scum, oven not cleaned in years) take longer. We give you a flat quote upfront based on a walkthrough or detailed phone questions.
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
Pick up personal items so we can clean surfaces. Decide if you want us to clean inside specific spaces (oven, refrigerator, inside cabinets) — that's deep clean territory and depends on your preferences. Set out any specific products you want us to use if you have preferences. Other than that, just leave the way clear and we'll handle the rest.
Is deep cleaning a one-time service or can I get it regularly?
Most clients book a deep clean as the first service when starting recurring cleaning, then transition to standard recurring cleaning after that. Some clients prefer a deep clean every quarter or before holidays even with regular service. We'll work with whatever rhythm fits your home and preferences.
